Our client is currently seeking a IT Network and Unified Communication Manager We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager of IT Network and Unified Communications to lead a high-performing team responsible for enterprise networking and communications infrastructure. This role oversees the design, implementation, and support of network systems, ensures business continuity and disaster recovery readiness, and collaborates cross-functionally to drive technology initiatives forward. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team across network engineering and unified communications. Oversee daily operations, project execution, and long-term planning for enterprise network infrastructure. Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in networking technologies and architecture. Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, including regular testing and validation. Manage infrastructure resource forecasting, budgeting, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategies with business goals. Maintain documentation including gold builds, best practices, knowledge bases, and recovery procedures. Direct large-scale, cross-functional IT projects involving multiple platforms and technologies. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents as needed. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on enterprise networking. 3+ years of experience in team leadership and project management. Proven ability to lead in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Expertise in enterprise networking technologies and protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, NAT, DHCP, DNS). Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS), SDN, and hybrid environments. Familiarity with DDoS mitigation, load balancing (e.g., Akamai, F5), and network security tools. Strong background in data center technologies including Cisco Nexus, NX-OS, VDCs, and OTV. Experience managing multi-homed ISP connections, redundancy protocols (HSRP, GLBP), and port-channeling. Certifications: Cisco CCNP, CCDP, or CCSP (required) PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred) Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team development skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects. Deep understanding of IT compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
