Position Highlights: The primary role of the Manager of Unified Communications is to manage, lead and influence the direction of critical communication services and platforms across multiple data center locations and field sites globally, including telephone systems, conferencing and collaboration architecture, and Microsoft platforms, such as Microsoft 365 and Active Directory. The manager is responsible for the team to maintain enterprise focus and develop strategies, road-maps and investment plans to align with, and support, critical business objectives. Provide life-cycle management of all Unified Communications platforms and services. Pro-actively drive service improvement and implement required changes to deliver operational excellence. Manage capacity to meet Service Levels and maintain a 12 month rolling capacity plan that reflects current and future business needs. Contribute to creation of and roll out strategy road-map for audio voice services, ensuring the adoption and operationalization of new technologies, i.e., Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 Services, Enterprise Voice, while transitioning from and decommissioning legacy or traditional technology. Keeps up with technology trends, research technologies for the new hospital, recommends specific vendors technologies, solutions. The individual will work closely with key administrative, operational, and clinical departments to ensure solution delivery, continued support and actively contributes to the strategic formation and execution of the overall technology vision for the Center. Responsibilities

: • Work with staff in developing and maintaining Unified Communications opportunities, guidance on new technologies and platforms, and overseeing transitioning technologies to operational responsibility, while maintaining consistent communication with other teams regarding issues and improvement opportunities. • Provides strategic direction and broadly advocates for all centralized Unified Communication engineering operational technology, including telecom, collaborative technology, and Microsoft Cloud • Implements process and management methods to produce Unified Communications engineering excellence for team members responsible for all tasks and activities associated with Unified Communication functions (e.g. engineering, implementation, diagnostics, operations, and user support). • Plans and manages budgets, forecasts, projects, and associated staffing requirements Credentials and Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree – Computer Science, Information systems, or related field • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in technology operations roles providing network, telephony and collaboration architecture support/configuration, implementation efforts of projects and tasks, development of solutions at both the functional and technical layers for an entire organization (preferably a healthcare entity). • PLUS three (3) years leadership experience as supervisor, team/project lead, manager or above is required (may be inclusive of other experience). • Minimum of five (5) years working in healthcare IT team environment is required (may be inclusive of other experience).
