Position Overview
As a Broadcast Engineer on the Media Productions team, you will be instrumental in maintaining and configuring all production equipment to support the company's live events and video production projects.
Your expertise will ensure the overall health of our audio and video technologies, enabling our employees to connect in a rich and meaningful way and enhancing their productivity.
The ideal candidate excels at designing and building robust, interconnected AV, Broadcast, and Studio systems that are globally available. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet the dynamic needs of the business.
This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Media Productions in the Bay Area. The broader team provides collaboration technology and support, including video conferencing, live event support, and video production.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain access control permissions for production equipment and systems.
Create and maintain documentation for new technologies, inventory, and system configurations.
Manage broadcast routing and production switcher configurations.
Configure and tune Audio DSP systems.
Operate and manage live event platforms such as Zoom Webinar and Microsoft Teams.
Manage production control stations via KVM.
Ensure production intercom systems are available and functional across all office locations.
Oversee the management of ingest and playout devices.
Serve as the primary point of contact for network-related issues.
Step into various production roles as needed, including:
Video Switcher (Ross/VMix)
ClearCom Operator
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 5+ years in A/V engineering roles with a specific focus on live broadcast and studio production.
Technical Scope: Proven experience working with systems across multiple, ideally global, locations.
Project Management: Ability to work autonomously and lead small to medium projects. Solid grasp of IT fundamentals, including SDLC, agile methodologies, and change management.
Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.

Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
