Full job description-—Freelance Content Creator Freelancer, Content Creator (Temp) Golin Chicago is seeking a Freelance Content Creator, specializing in short-form social video production to join our team on a temporary basis. Because of this retail client’s massive reach, every post, every interaction, will be seen by thousands, if not millions of people around the world. It’s an awesome opportunity and responsibility. You’ll help our client navigate the always-evolving social landscape to deliver the most relevant and impactful social content and engagement. * Please note: This is a Freelance opportunity, to support our team on a short-term basis. YOU MUST have a link, or links, to your social work in your application. * We are looking for someone who can join us in a Freelance capacity and can commit to up to 40 hours weekly for 3 months. Here are the details: Lead end-to-end content production, from talent identification, briefing, and engagement to calendar development, shooting, editing, and publishing Contribute strategic, creative ideas for using short-form social video in innovative ways to help the client achieve their communications, marketing, and business goals Concept, direct, edit, and produce short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Stories, Twitter, and other social channels Partner with account leadership to align content with the client’s overall social strategy Work closely with the client relationship manager who oversees both accounts to lead and manage strategic programs, ensuring the team is providing a high standard of client service Manage expectations against results, troubleshoot and be proactive in identifying challenges and opportunities, and ensure flawless execution Develop and publish thought leadership on TikTok and short-form social video Lead and mentor junior to mid-level team members to build a culture of high performance Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required 3+ years of relevant experience You must have a link, or links, to your social work Proven track record in producing and editing content for social that helps increase brand engagement and outreach – feel free to submit examples of pages that you’ve produced for Creative capability and technical expertise in TikTok production and video editing Thorough understanding of TikTok user and community dynamics Experience leveraging best practices to maximize engagement and views Experience in producing brand TikTok and Instagram content Ability to provide clear direction to on-camera talent, both live and in writing Agency experience strongly preferred but not required Passion for collaboration and inclusion Ability to manage and juggle multiple tasks and timelines Please note: We are open to considering qualified remote candidates in other locations. Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
