Applicants from major tech companies (e.g., Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, Atlassian, Amazon, AWS, Palo Alto Networks, NetApp, IBM, Cisco, Oracle, Adobe, VMware, SAP, ServiceNow) are strongly preferred.
Location preference: Seattle, WA (or San Francisco). On‑site 1‑3 days per week.
Duration: 1 year with possible extension.
Travel: Occasional regional travel within the USA, roughly once per month. No guaranteed local or international travel.
Top tech skills: End‑to‑end event production, finance management.
Years of experience: 10+ years.
Job Overview
As a Regional Event Producer in the Workplace Experience Event Team, you’ll work with a global team of event, marketing & comms experts to ideate, create, and implement in‑person and virtual events, connecting clients locally, regionally, and globally.
You’ll execute internal events and event marketing strategy in your region, running high‑visibility events that optimize company culture and connection opportunities. This includes regular in‑person and virtual/broadcast programming at client offices, third‑party venues across the USA, and online.
The team’s remit focuses on Get Together (in‑office socials), Client on Tour (social events in non‑office cities), Intentional Togetherness Gatherings (in‑person events at varied locations), Virtual Connect (online socials), and multi‑stakeholder events partnering with other internal teams.
Responsibilities & Core Skills
Ultimate team player: collaborate daily with regional and global counterparts to create and execute events, taking the role of lead, core contributor, or support on global and regional projects.
Quickly foster trusted internal relationships with Workplace Experience team and other internal partners (Internal Comms, Creative & Brand, Marketing, Founders Team).
Become a local subject matter expert and role model while maintaining a global perspective.
Over‑communication: provide regular asynchronous written updates to the team, manager, and stakeholders.
Get stuck in: roll your sleeves up and help deliver when necessary.
Prioritization: maintain focus on critical priorities or projects that drive event goals and OKRs.
Keep focused: align team management and stakeholders to mitigate risk and deliver value to internal and external customers.
Be the best at briefs: work smart on planning, production, and delivery of events while collaborating with local/global vendors and partners on flawless execution.
Source and build harmonious partnerships: vet, source, and onboard new vendors, evolving the vendor network.
Good with numbers: budget and finance lead for regional and local events, including scoping, vendor price negotiation, procurement management, ongoing budget management, and reconciliation.
Event comms and marketing development: brief and partner with the Event Team Comms Lead to localize comms and increase relevance to the local audience.
You will report to the Global Workplace Experience Event Lead, based in Sydney, Australia. You will attend pre‑arranged Zoom meetings with your manager and team on average 2–3 weekday evenings per week. Occasionally, you may join schedule with Europe teammates.
Events typically occur Monday‑Friday, though rare weekends may be required for event set‑up or travel. These days can be remunerated or taken as time in lieu (pending manager approval).
Your diary is yours to manage; you may flexibly work from home, the office, or a mix.
