Job Title: Facebook/Meta Media Buyer Department: Data Analytics Reports to: VP, Data Science Effective Date: 11/06/2025 Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, IC Location: Remote Job Summary A Facebook Media Buyer is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns on Meta platforms like Facebook and Instagram to meet specific goals and maximize ROI. Key duties include managing budgets, defining and targeting audiences, analyzing performance data, and adjusting ad strategies through the Meta Ads Manager to improve results. See us at https://www.high5games.com/ Duties/Responsibilities Campaign management: Set up, monitor, and optimize paid ad campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and others within the Meta ecosystem. Budget management: Allocate and manage ad spend to ensure campaigns stay within budget and achieve objectives. Audience targeting: Define and target specific audiences based on demographics, interests, and behaviors. Performance analysis: Analyze campaign data to understand what is working and what is not. Optimization: Adjust targeting, bidding strategies, and ad creatives based on performance data to improve results and ROI. Reporting: Prepare and deliver performance reports, updating spreadsheets and tracking key metrics. Troubleshooting: Identify and fix issues that may block campaign growth or performance. Maintain required documentation: (recruiting tracker, ATS — interview notes, etc.) and report progress to management. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data and use insights to inform action plans. Marketing knowledge: Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices. Platform proficiency: Expertise in using the Meta Ads Manager to create, manage, and optimize campaigns. Organization: Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team collaboration. Adaptability: Ability to learn new concepts and systems quickly and stay up-to-date with the fast-changing digital media landscape. Attention to detail: High level of accuracy in managing campaigns and data. Preferred qualifications: Experience with direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing or a background in a specific industry. A bachelor’s degree in a related field like marketing or communications is often sought after. Education Bachelor’s degree: A degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field is often a prerequisite. Certifications: Certifications, such as Facebook Blueprint, can be highly valued. Experience Media buying experience: Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in media buying. Digital advertising experience: Proven experience with digital media buying, particularly with platforms like Facebook Ads Manager, is crucial. Analytical experience: Experience analyzing campaign performance data and using it to optimize strategies is essential.
