About the Role Whisper Aero is seeking a talented and versatile Communication Designer to join our Design Team in Nashville, TN. This high‑impact, multidisciplinary role involves shaping and evolving how our story is told across digital and physical platforms. You will craft compelling visual assets—web design, printed collateral, branded video content, and marketing campaigns—while collaborating closely with design leads, product teams, and marketing to ensure cohesive storytelling. What You’ll Do Graphic Design: Create elegant and impactful visuals for internal and external use. Brand Storytelling: Develop marketing materials for social media, conferences, print, and web. Brand Identity: Contribute to branding strategy from logo creation to font and asset development. Web Design: Evolve and maintain Whisper Aero’s digital presence through thoughtful UI/UX. Print Collateral: Design and prepare assets for print, with attention to layout, sizing, and print specifications. Packaging Design: Develop compelling, brand‑aligned packaging solutions that merge visual impact with functional design. Video/Animation: Edit videos and animate 3D assets to help communicate complex design ideas. Color & Materials: Collaborate on color, material, and finish explorations that align with product design. Basic Qualifications U.S. Citizenship (this position may access export‑controlled data). Based in or willing to relocate to Nashville, TN. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Branding Design, Communication Design, or a related field. 2+ years of professional experience in communication, brand, or graphic design. Strong, diverse portfolio that highlights your ability to tell a brand’s story through design. Candidates without a portfolio will not be considered. Ability to animate 3D CAD data and produce static or motion visuals. Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Blender, etc.). Comfortable balancing self‑directed work with collaborative, cross‑functional projects. Skilled at adapting brand aesthetics across print, digital, and video media. Awareness of design trends with an eye for premium and deep‑tech brand expression. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience working with leadership teams. Experience editing and synthesizing video content for marketing purposes. Bonus Qualifications Experience in fast‑paced startups.
