Our Large Commercial Lines Carrier Marketing team continues to grow, and we are looking for a Marketer to work closely with Risk Advisors, Account Managers, and Carriers to evaluate risks, develop customized carrier marketing strategies, and secure the most effective coverage solutions and long‑term value for our large commercial line clients. This role is ideal for an experienced insurance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, client‑centric, high‑touch environment, able to provide insurance and risk management strategies, ensuring every client interaction reflects our service standards and commitment to client service.
What You'll Be Doing
Contribute to our large commercial line sales goals through placement of new and renewal business.
Collaborate with Risk Advisors and Account Managers to prepare comprehensive submissions and marketing strategies.
Analyze risks and evaluate exposures to determine appropriate coverage limits.
Negotiate with carrier underwriters to achieve optimal placement and competitive program.
Prepare quotes and proposals and support Risk Advisors in client meetings as needed.
Finalize submissions, prepare applications and bind policies with carriers, ensuring accuracy, and compliance.
Provide technical assistance regarding policy forms, endorsements, and coverage considerations.
Understand risk exposures and insurance contracts to evaluate gaps and offer support/solutions to all stakeholders.
Create marketing results spreadsheet and update with carrier responses.
Participate in carrier meetings to ensure alignment and build relationships.
Work effectively with teammates and all applicable stakeholders to deliver on our promise.
Ensure compliance with agency processes, use of tools, confidentiality standards, and quality metrics.
Stay current on industry trends, products, and regulatory changes.
Commitment to continuous learning, improving processes, and team development.
Review, update, and contribute to processes improvement and workflow design as assigned/needed.
Take on additional work and projects as assigned.
Collaborate with team members, provide backup support, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts and team collaboration.

Skills & Experience You'll Bring
A track record of building and retaining effective relationships with Risk Advisors, Account Managers, carrier partners, and clients with the ability to get things done.
Demonstrated knowledge of commercial underwriting, coverages, carrier systems, and client‑facing abilities.
Strong understanding of risks, complex coverage analysis, and insurance program design.
Experience marketing and placing standard and non‑standard risks.
Skilled negotiator with the ability to develop and execute placement strategies.
Experienced and confident communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong proficiency in agency management systems with EPIC experience preferred as well as strong proficiency with carrier platforms and all Microsoft products.
Proficient with AI and emerging technologies, quick to learn and apply new tools to enhance service and efficiency.
Curiosity, solution‑oriented thinker who proactively identifies opportunities for clients and internal process improvement.
Exceptional ability to research, analyze, problem‑solve, and stay organized.
Strong client service, interpersonal, and people skills.
Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, be flexible, and welcome change.
Experience mentoring, training, or coaching colleagues is a plus.

Qualifications
5+ years of commercial lines insurance marketing and placement experience preferred.
Active Property & Casualty license in good standing.
College Degree Preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
Professional designations encouraged.
