KVEO (NBC) in Harlingen, TX (DMA 80) is looking for a full‑time News Producer who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative newsroom and loves creating compelling content for one of Texas’ fastest‑growing markets. As a News Producer, you’ll be at the heart of our daily newscasts—crafting engaging stories, building dynamic rundowns, and ensuring every show informs and connects with our audience. Duties / Responsibilities Produce newscasts for broadcast and digital platforms, including CTV Write and organize news stories with accuracy and creativity Approve scripts and maintain editorial standards Balance hard news and features to deliver compelling broadcasts Edit video and collaborate with the production team Engage viewers on social media and drive audience interaction Perform other newsroom duties as assigned Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field (or equivalent experience) Bilingual in English and Spanish Strong written and verbal communication skills Minimum 2 years of experience in news operations Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and adapt quickly Flexibility to work any shift Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full‑time Job function Marketing, Public Relations, and Writing/Editing Industries Broadcast Media Production and Distribution #J-18808-Ljbffr
