Join Amazon Music’s spoken word‑focused team as a full‑time Program Manager to drive operational excellence across Podcast Operations. This cross‑functional role blends process‑driven mindset, operational rigor, and technology skills to optimize workflows, support podcasters, and enhance catalog performance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Podcaster Relations team to onboard, educate, and support podcasters who distribute their content to Amazon Music, Audible, Alexa, and other services.
- Establish goals, plans, and metrics, track progress, create SOPs, and overcome obstacles to achieve program objectives.
- Provide premium assistance to podcast partners for managing their content on Amazon Music.
- Support third‑party podcaster inquiries, track customer‑satisfaction metrics, and improve help‑desk procedures.
- Partner with the Amazon Music for Podcasters Product team to report feedback that drives product improvements.
- Prioritize improvements to internal tools and CMS based on cross‑functional input and maintain tool manuals.
- Manage and execute catalog maintenance projects, such as bulk reviews and updates.
- Work closely with hosting providers to ensure a friction‑free distribution experience for podcasters.
- Collaborate with partner Amazon service teams to set expectations, educate, and align operations with product and business objectives.
- Uphold the Content Policy by reviewing and responding to content escalations.
- Collaborate with International Podcast Managers to share operations resources and gather local inputs.
- Prepare strategic recommendations, roadmaps, and program updates for senior management.
- Support enrichment efforts for spoken‑word content within the catalog.
About The Team
The Digital Music Catalog and Selection Excellence (CASE) team builds metadata, technologies, and processes that create distinctive products for Amazon’s music and audio services. The team shapes how listeners discover emerging and established artists and podcasts, supporting services across web, mobile, and voice‑enabled devices worldwide.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience.
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process‑improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Cross‑functional collaboration with tech and non‑tech teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of end‑to‑end delivery experience and communication of results to senior leadership.
- Strong stakeholder management across varied levels.
- Experience building processes, managing projects, and scheduling.

Compensation ranges from $66,800 to $142,800 per year, depending on market location, with additional equity, sign‑on, and benefits as part of the total package. This position will remain posted until filled.
