Science Writer

Are you a scientist with a talent for turning complex research into clear, compelling stories? We’re looking for a Science Writer to join a growing medical communications agency that supports clients across the life sciences and biotech sectors.

This hybrid role is based in Boston (3 days per week in-office) and requires proficiency in Mandarin to support collaboration with global teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, write, and edit high-quality scientific and marketing content — including articles, white papers, blogs, digital copy, infographics, and presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to develop content aligned with campaign and communication strategies
  • Manage multiple writing projects, ensuring scientific accuracy, consistency, and clarity of message
  • Contribute to digital marketing and email campaigns, as well as event-related content for conferences and scientific meetings
  • Stay current with trends and developments across the life sciences to inform and enrich content creation

About You

  • PhD (or equivalent experience) in a life sciences discipline such as molecular biology, immunology, or oncology
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages
  • Strong scientific foundation with the ability to quickly understand and communicate complex concepts
  • 2+ years of experience in science writing, content creation, or medical communications (agency or B2B experience preferred)
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
  • Based in or able to commute to Boston, working three days per week in-office

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits
  • Hybrid working model (3 days in Boston office)
  • Opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative, science-driven culture
  • Exposure to cutting-edge projects across biotechnology and life sciences industries
  • A supportive environment that values creativity, precision, and scientific excellence
  • If you’re passionate about communicating science that makes an impact — and you thrive at the intersection of research and storytelling — we’d love to hear from you.
