Job Title SRO Exam Writer – Long‑term contract opportunity at Laveer Engineering, sourced through WECTEC Staffing Services. Location Cranberry Township, PA – Onsite position. Opportunity Overview Long‑term contract opportunity for an experienced SRO Exam Writer to develop, administer, and validate NRC exam materials for both Initial and Continuing licensed operator training programs. Your Day‑to‑Day Develop and administer LOIT NRC final written exam questions, including the audit exam, ensuring alignment with current regulatory requirements and ILT program design. Create LOIT Job Performance Measures (JPMs) that satisfy regulatory mandates and support ILT content. Develop LOIT Simulator Exam Scenarios aligned with regulatory feedback and program design. Administer LOIT program exams and simulator evaluations in accordance with site governance. Develop and manage LOCT biennial written exam questions and associated JPMs and simulator scenarios. Administer LOCT program exams per the LOIT class schedule and manage non‑licensed initial and continuing training program exams. Collaborate directly with NRC examiners to validate written and operating exams. Maintain exam security procedures to prevent compromise of audit and NRC exam materials. Support students by administering the QuizzTBot application. Qualifications BS in Engineering required. Minimum 8 years applicable experience; 10+ years preferred. Strong background in nuclear operations and experience working across diverse departments. Experience in product development, including design, engineering, and research development phases with modeling, simulation, code development or use, software, I&C, or programming.
