Job Title: Technical Writer V

Duration: 06 Months with possible extension

Location: Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid for 2‑3 days per week)

Pay Range: $85‑90/hr on W2

Job Description

• Update existing documentation to reflect new features, enhancements, and changes to the platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Engineering and Product Management, to ensure accuracy and completeness in technical documentation.
• Work closely with the other members of the writing team to ensure consistency in detail, style, and presentation.
• Write high quality technical content that effectively communicates complex information clearly, concisely, and without jargon.

Experience and qualifications

• BA degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, a related writing‑oriented field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 10 years of experience writing technical content.
• Excellent English writing skills.
• Experience documenting public cloud products, Oracle, and Kubernetes.
• Skill using Oxygen XML Author or a similar product to create documentation in DITA.
• Ability to manage documentation using Git and GitHub.
• Experience working with CLI and Linux‑like OS is a plus.
