Technical Writer - Marketing Communication Specialist

Location: Can sit in Boston MA or Andover MA

Contract Terms: 6 month contract with possible extension

Schedule: M-F 8-5 PM EST hybrid 2 days onsite

• Copy Editing – manage thousands of marketing brochures and collateral, providing grammar, spelling checks, and ensuring materials align with branding.
• Template Implementation – create guidelines to keep documents and future marketing materials consistent, applying corporate templates and manipulating PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Organization Skills – update SharePoint site with brochures, documents, and PPTs; organize content and upload for Sales Rep accessibility.

Job Description

Cybersecurity Solutions Team is seeking a versatile Technical Writer or Marketing Communications Specialist to work with Product Management in the creation, publication, and maintenance of marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, correct, and update product and promotional materials to ensure clarity, proper construction, and appropriate language.
• Implement company branding rules, apply corporate templates, organize content display, and apply graphic treatments to improve appeal.
• Governance to ensure consistency across documents that support multiple products.
• Maintain SharePoint site used for internal publishing; administer internal social media account to disseminate information within Schneider.
• Maintain an ordered repository of content for reuse.

Qualifications

• Copy editing of marketing collateral such as brochures, data sheets, and presentations.
• Editing of technical documentation such as product briefs, white papers, SOPs, user guides.
• Creation and maintenance of SharePoint Communication sites or similar.
• Interaction with technical teams and SMEs distributed in multiple countries.
• Organizing work requests from multiple sources and maintaining document library.

Other Skills (Optional)

• Animation and video generation.
• Familiarity with technical topics related to Cybersecurity, OT, IT, industrial automation, and product development.
