The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build and maintain web applications. Develop and maintain front‑end applications using ReactJS, Typescript and modern UI frameworks. Build scalable backend services and APIs using NestJS. Write clean, maintainable and testable code following best software development practices. Ensure UI/UX designs are implemented accurately and responsively. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Troubleshoot, debug and optimize performance across the tech stack. Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. Document technical designs, processes and workflows. Qualifications Proficiency in ReactJS (functional components, hooks, context API, state management) Experience in Typescript or similar language (typing, generics, interfaces, advanced features) Solid foundation in HTML5, CSS3 and modern responsive design practices. Demonstrated experience in building and deploying web applications using ReactJS and NestJS. Experience with CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap, Material UI or similar) Understand of frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel) Hands‑on experience with NestJS or similar framework (modules, services, controllers, dependency injection) Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL. Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB) Experience with ORMs (TypeORM, Prisma, Sequelizeli> Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Supertest, Cypress) Familiarity with Git‑based workflows (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices (Docker, Kubernetes or cloud providers) Education Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
