PR Manager, AWS Corporate Communications Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a creative and strategic communicator to deliver programs and stories that inspire our customers. The ideal candidate for this media strategy role on the AWS Corporate Communications team has a proven track record of creating and executing media relations strategies within large, fast‑moving global organizations. You will demonstrate strong direct ownership of the programs you’ve run, earn the trust of internal and external stakeholders, and have a history of developing, pitching, and securing high‑impact media coverage. As an experienced storyteller, you’ll translate complex technical concepts into terms that people worldwide can understand.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with teams across Amazon and provide strategic counsel to business leaders during high‑profile events.

Dive deep into industry topics to understand their impact on customers, then execute programs that explain these topics to media and stakeholders.

Develop media strategy, planning, monitoring, measurement, and messaging, and create press materials.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience.

Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in media relations and issues management.

Location: Arlington, VA

Compensation: Base pay ranges from $114,000/year up to $188,500/year depending on market location and may vary based on experience.
