About the Opportunity
Powered By Love is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and is seeking a reliable and skilled
Volunteer Web Content & Operations Specialist
to manage and update our official website (built on WordPress using the Divi theme). This foundational role ensures our community and donors have the latest information regarding our impact, donation status, and programs. The volunteer will be responsible for regular content maintenance and will be key in implementing future e-commerce and logistics integrations, such as WooCommerce and Printful. Key Responsibilities Content & Data Updates:
Perform bi-monthly content updates (on or near the
1 st and 15th of each month) to reflect the latest status of donated items, program statistics, and organizational news. Ensure all website text and imagery are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the Powered By Love brand.
Technical Maintenance & Development:
Maintain the functionality and visual integrity of the WordPress site using the Divi theme and builder. Assist in research, setup, and testing of new integrations, including WooCommerce (for sales) and Printful (for merchandise fulfillment). Support basic SEO optimization and page speed maintenance.
Support & Documentation:
Troubleshoot minor website issues and escalate complex issues to the appropriate personnel. Document new processes and integration steps for future organizational use.
Qualifications & Requirements Platform Proficiency:
Proven experience working with
WordPress
as a Content Management System (CMS). Theme Experience:
Intermediate to advanced experience specifically with the Divi Theme and Builder (or similar drag-and-drop builders like Elementor). Reliability:
Demonstrated ability to meet fixed deadlines, especially for bi-monthly content updates. Technical Aptitude:
Understanding of basic web operations, plug-in management, and a willingness to learn new integrations (WooCommerce, Printful). Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and commitment to supporting a nonprofit mission.
