What You Will Do
Develop communication strategies, plans, services and deliverables for the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Produce and measure internal communication materials to achieve segment objectives while tying them to Caterpillar enterprise narratives.
Deliver speeches, video scripts, presentations, newsletter articles and internal all‑supervisor and all‑employee meetings.
What You Will Have (Required)
College or university degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Significant experience leading global communications efforts with an emphasis on external communications (media relations, HR communications, branding).
Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to strategic planning in support of the overall business plan; ability to measure business impact for public relations efforts.
Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
Successful in supporting and interacting with senior level executives; excellent interpersonal skills to engage on sensitive issues, develop others or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.

The primary location for this position is Irving, TX.
Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify.
