Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Furniture Designer to lead the development of bespoke furniture pieces that elevate our interior design projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, high‑end residential design environment and is passionate about translating conceptual ideas into beautifully crafted, functional furniture.
Responsibilities
Lead the concept development of custom furniture pieces that align with the aesthetic and functional goals of each interior design project.
Produce detailed sketches, renderings, 3D models, and fabrication drawings to communicate design intent to internal teams, clients, and fabricators.
Manage product development timelines, ensuring alignment with project milestones and client presentation schedules.
Review and approve manufacturer shop drawings, providing clear feedback to maintain design integrity.
Conduct showroom and manufacturer visits to oversee production progress, perform quality checks, and ensure alignment with design intent.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide solutions during and post‑manufacturing as needed.
Support the product development team with concept design and development of running‑line products when schedule permits.
Requirements
B.A. in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience designing high‑end residential furniture.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, Keyshot, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, and furniture construction.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, design‑driven environment.
