We are hiring a bright cross‑channel Media Planner to manage day‑to‑day planning responsibilities. The Planner leans into the strategic media plan development and is responsible for speaking to the holistic plan narrative, including tactical details and campaign performance. Responsibilities

Maintain and grow a foundational knowledge of both online and offline media channels. Collaborate with Investment, Redbox (Analytics) and Strategy team members to incorporate actionable audience insights into strategic recommendations. Manage weekly status calls and serve as the main point of contact with clients. Manage client budgets and upkeep of flowcharts to maintain holistic media plan accuracy. Monitor the pulse on changing media and client trends. Collaborate on tactical presentations with the Investment team, ensuring a clear story built around the strategic presentation. Master tools like Vivvix/Pathmatics, YouGov, MRI/Simmons, Infegy, Commspoint, RBOO and NMI, and questions data and usage rigorously. Act as the first gatekeeper and reviewer for Assistant Planner’s work. Articulate a strong understanding of quantitative media strategy elements – media mix, role of channel, reach and frequency, flighting strategy, etc. Fully comprehend client business objectives and the role media is meant to play in accomplishing them. Proactively encourage media & creative integration through cross‑agency presentations and timelines. Personal Efforts

Participate in training programs to enhance professional growth. Mentor Assistant Planner; provide ongoing feedback and reviews to guide growth. Display a high level of personal dedication and motivation. Positively contribute to our culture. Troubleshoot team issues and concerns. Build esprit de corps through strong team communication. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree. 2+ years of experience in media planning at an ad agency. Ability to juggle multiple client projects and responsibilities and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and organizational skills while working in a fast‑paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical and math skills. Capable of working independently and managing projects from start to finish. Experience with managing and mentoring junior team members. Takes initiative in acquiring new skills and taking on a workload. Professionalism and confidence in working with vendors, team members and clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially a very high proficiency in working in Excel is a must. Salary range $62k – $75k. Compensation is determined on the skills, qualifications and tenure of the applicant. This role requires proximity to New York City.
