CyberGuy is looking for an experienced, hands-on Social Media Manager
in Los Angeles
to run the day-to-day for our organic CyberGuy channels. You’ll own the publishing strategy, guide creative from idea to execution, and help grow both our social presence and our newsletter subscriber base.
We want someone who thrives on creativity, understands how to turn analytics into action, and knows how to engage and grow an audience.
What You’ll Do
Manage and grow CyberGuy’s social media presence across YouTube (videos and Shorts), TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram (including Stories & Reels), Threads, and LinkedIn.
Develop and execute social strategies that drive engagement and grow newsletter subscriptions.
Create platform-specific content, from concept to post, including copywriting, image selection, and basic video editing.
Write SEO-rich headlines and descriptions to boost reach.
Monitor analytics to guide content decisions, test new ideas, and optimize performance.
Collaborate with the SVP Digital on strategy, content planning, and creative direction.
Schedule and publish content, respond to audience engagement, and track results.
Support occasional paid social campaigns and promotions.
What you Bring
2+ years of experience in journalism or multi-platform content creation (digital agency experience a plus).
Excellent copywriting, image creation, and video editing skills (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar).
Strong understanding of consumer technology and a knack for making it engaging and accessible.
Working knowledge of WordPress, Canva, and social media scheduling tools.
Familiarity with affiliate marketing (Amazon Affiliates, TikTok Shops) and Google AdSense is a plus.
Deep knowledge of all major social platforms and current digital marketing trends.
Analytical mindset with the ability to adjust strategies based on performance data.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
This is a primarily remote position, but candidates should be based in Los Angeles with flexibility to be on set a few days each month.
