Architectural Design Staff
BRR Architecture is a national architectural design firm dedicated to creating inspiring architecture for retail, commercial and multi‑family needs. Our team‑based approach ensures everyone feels they are working with one team, regardless of client location. We look for team‑players with commercial, grocery/retail experience, especially in urban markets, who can collaborate effectively and contribute to design, coordination and production of CDs through the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Evaluate materials, building products, constructability and processes.
Produce detailed construction documents for projects.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Refrigeration and Structural disciplines.
Develop and assist in client and peer presentations.
Attend project and studio meetings.
Build, develop, and maintain client relations.
Assist in problem solving of production issues.
Ensure success of project.
Review architectural designs, production documents, and construction change directives.
Conduct site scopes, observation trips, and generate field reports.
Qualifications
Professional accredited degree in Architecture.
Licensure not required.
Capacity to understand and communicate complex issues affecting functional and aesthetic areas of architecture.
Creative and critical thinking with strong graphic communication skills.
Desire to work in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
Ability to assist in architectural research, document/design development, peer consultation and program‑wide implementation efforts.
Detail‑oriented with a commitment to confidentiality and sensitivity of information.
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and presentation skills.
Ability to work well with all levels of teammates.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; drive to research and utilize technology in architectural applications.
