Job Summary
The SEO Specialist develops localized SEO strategies and executes core deliverables for assigned automotive dealers on a monthly basis. The role collaborates across the SEO, Content, Sales, and Customer Success teams to drive revenue, client retention, and performance as measured by L2T’s SEO KPI’s.
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain SEO strategies including keyword research, on‑site optimization, and local citation management.
Execute pre‑defined tactics for the assigned book of business each month.
Provide audits, recommendations, and strategies to improve ongoing campaigns.
Respond to client requests accurately and in a timely manner.
Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and search‑engine algorithm updates.
Apply all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
Pace tactical work evenly throughout the month and provide regular client updates.
Import all SEO work into the client‑facing performance dashboard by month‑end.
Educate the SEO department and Sales/CS teams with insights bulletins, newsworthy updates, and training.
Complete account‑related tasks assigned by management within the given timeframe.
Occasionally present SEO performance and strategy to clients via brief PowerPoint on a Sales‑team hosted call.
Education Requirements
BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience with 1‑2 years in SEO engagement.
Required Skills
Live within commuting distance of Evanston, IL and able to maintain a hybrid schedule (two days in‑office per week).
1 year of relevant SEO experience.
Proficiency with SEO tools such as BrightEdge, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
Experience with Google Analytics and Search Console preferred.
Strong time‑management and multi‑tasking skills to meet deadlines.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and analytical problem‑solving.
Strategic thinker who develops creative solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail‑oriented, monitoring and verifying work for accuracy.
Adaptable to changing responsibilities, processes, and organizational culture.
Self‑directed and effective independently, with a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Skills
Google Analytics proficiency.
Google Search Console experience.
Jira for project management.
Yext familiarity.
Comfortable presenting virtually.
Familiarity with SEO concepts and keyword research.
Curiosity to learn and grow on the job.

Total Compensation
The total compensation range for this full‑time position is $50,000 to $53,000, based on experience and the location of the job.
