Responsibilities Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns, and dentures. Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions. Develop treatment plans based on patients' oral health needs. Educate patients on proper hygiene and preventive care. Collaborate with dental assistants and specialists to provide comprehensive care. Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon. Follow aseptic techniques for infection control and patient safety. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license. Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures. Familiarity with medical records management and documentation. Proficiency in aseptic technique. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and medical terminology. Ability to interpret and analyze dental imaging such as X‑rays.
