About the Role

Law360 is seeking a senior environmental reporter. This reporter will write regular news analyses and features, contextualizing major court rulings as well as federal and state regulation and enforcement actions. This reporter will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the environmental beat and a reliable roster of sources.

Requirements

  • Possess at least two years of full‑time, paid reporting experience
  • Demonstrated reporting and writing skills
  • Experience working a beat

Preferences

  • Experience covering environmental enforcement and regulation
  • Experience reporting for a legal audience

Salary: $85,000/annually

Primary Location Base Pay Range: Home based-Ohio $16,000 - $26,600.
U.S. National Base Pay Range: $16,800 - $28,100.
Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
Base Pay Range for CO is $16,800 - $28,100.
Base Pay Range for IL is $17,700 - $29,500.
Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL is $18,600 - $30,900.
Base Pay Range for MD is $17,700 - $29,500.
Base Pay Range for NY is $18,600 - $30,900.
Base Pay Range for New York City is $19,400 - $32,300.
Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY is $16,000 - $26,600.
Base Pay Range for OH is $16,000 - $26,600.
