3D Experience Designer – Events, Concerts, Corporate (Vectorworks & Unreal)
RMRK is a
creative production group based in Portland, Oregon , working with clients across the United States. We partner with
major brands and nonprofit organizations
to design and deliver large-scale live productions — from
concerts and corporate events to broadcast television .
Our team brings together
designers, producers, and technical specialists
to transform creative ideas into immersive, high-impact experiences that connect audiences and inspire engagement.
The Opportunity We’re looking for a
3D Experience Designer
to join our growing team. You’ll collaborate closely with creative and technical partners to concept, design, and visualize
physical environments — including stages, broadcast sets, scenic elements, and immersive event spaces. You’ll work from
big-picture vision through detailed, production-ready drawings , ensuring creative intent translates seamlessly to fabrication and live execution.
What You’ll Do
Draft, model, and visualize event environments using
Vectorworks Spotlight, TwinMotion, and Unreal Engine
Create and refine floor plans, elevations, and scenic drawings
for fabrication and installation
Translate creative concepts into buildable designs that align with venue and production requirements
Collaborate with creative directors, producers, technical teams, and fabricators to bring designs to life
Manage multiple projects and revisions with accuracy, efficiency, and creativity
What You Bring
7+ years
of experience in environmental, spatial, brand, or live experience design
Expert proficiency in
Vectorworks Spotlight
(2D drafting and 3D modeling) and
Unreal Engine
(real-time visualization and rendering)
Strong grasp of
production realities
— sightlines, rigging points, AV/lighting/sound integration, fabrication, logistics, and safety
Ability to produce and organize detailed drawing sets, templates, and file structures
Excellent communication, time-management, and collaboration skills
A creative, positive mindset and the ability to thrive under pressure
What You’ll Get
Full-time position , with optional ~25% travel for site visits and installations (remote candidates considered)
Benefits package
including health insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and generous paid time off
The chance to work on
high-profile global brands
and
large-scale experiential programs
where your creativity makes a tangible impact
Most work is desk-based, but occasional on-site work may involve standing or walking during installations
Duties may evolve as projects and business needs grow.
Join Us If you’re passionate about designing experiences that move people — and you love taking projects from concept to live show — we’d love to meet you.
Apply today and help us create what’s next.
