Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.
The Role
The Senior Manager, Partner Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns while cultivating deep relationships with partners like consumer electronics, mobile operators, cable providers, ISPs and platform partners. You will help these partners promote our joint products, bundle offers, and services in the US and Canada to achieve business, brand, and content objectives.
We are looking for someone who enjoys sparking, managing and growing relationships across all levels of partners’ org structures—from project managers to CMOs. The preferred candidate is a proactive individual who identifies, clarifies and negotiates opportunities that drive the business forward. This role marries partner objectives, audience insights, and our growing slate of content to steer a cross‑functional network and create inspired solutions that promote member growth and bring the world’s best stories to life.
Even though the position is specific to the marketing needs of our partners, the successful candidate requires a passion for technology & content and a nuanced understanding of how both fit into the lives of current and future members.
This position will report to the Sr. Director, Partner Marketing - UCAN.
Responsibilities
Own the partner marketing relationship end-to-end with our partners.
Launch co‑marketing opportunities across ATL and BTL channels including partner sales channels and devices.
Work closely with the Business Development and Partner Engagement teams to provide seamless support to partners, identify, clarify and negotiate marketing opportunities.
Lead cross‑functional teams to define and execute innovative ideas.
Activate deals by developing and launching creative partner marketing programs that advance exposure for Netflix content or brand in a way that also benefits our partners and our joint offer.
Represent partner marketing among internal constituents on the marketing, product and business development teams.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience within a marketing, business development, or partnership-facing role.
Natural partner engagement skills with the ability to develop rapport and translate established partner relationships into programs that impact the business.
Passion for building great partnership programs that are unique and impactful.
High level of independence and efficiency while maintaining a high degree of organization.
Experience working in an environment that has internal product and business development teams in a way that embraces individual momentum rather than process‑driven group thinking.
Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving ability, organizational and communication skills.
Ability and comfort tracking and analyzing complex partner performance metrics, and then setting and executing strategies based on them.
Equal ability and comfort briefing, leading and providing effective input on the creative development of all partnership programs.
A natural curiosity for understanding the intricacies and advancements in the technology industry, emerging consumer behaviors and the role Netflix plays in the ecosystem.
Knowledge or experience with telco/ISP industries in the US or Canada. Previous experience working with CE/Platform partners a plus.
