Global Portfolio Leader: Colored Films and Conspicuity
This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career.
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The colored film and conspicuity portfolio is a core portfolio in CBT’s Graphic Segment with over $330M in sales. The portfolio is used in a wide range of applications and segments. As global portfolio leader, you will have opportunities to engage with some of the biggest brands in the world.
As a global portfolio leader, you will be responsible for:
Defining global portfolio strategy
Connect customer insights to global pipeline and programs; lead global NPI pipeline planning and execution to capture priority global growth opportunities
Outline a vision for long‑term sustainable new product growth
Set global pricing strategy and corridors for portfolio based on market dynamics and product value proposition
Develop marketing programs and campaigns to drive growth, including planning and execution of campaigns in conjunction with other functions
Portfolio management including mix, SKU configurations, product offerings, MOQ’s, etc.
Lead cross‑functional teams in product development and commercialization of NPIs
Continuous support and guidance to areas on portfolio direction and growth opportunities
Lead global brand or sub‑brand strategy for portfolio and provide guidance to areas/countries
Develop annual business plan
Engage with sales, manufacturing, supply, and technical teams across the globe
Partner with areas teams to understand global demand and work with plant and supply chain teams to execute against demand plans and service improvements
Alignment with manufacturing and sourcing on cost reduction programs
Facilitate the custom color process for new program specification
Coordination & sharing of global brand owner specifications
Development and implementation of anti‑counterfeit strategies and tactics
Engagement with area and country teams to drive new local conspicuity regulations
Your Skills And Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Three (3) years of marketing, portfolio management, business development, strategy, and sales in a private, public, government or military environment
Current, valid Driver’s License
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution
5 years in sales, marketing, strategy and portfolio management.
Work location
This role follows an on‑site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
Travel
May include up to 30 % domestic/international.
Relocation
Not authorized.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Benefits and Compensation
Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $228,040 – $278,715, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
