What will you do
Define differentiated, mission‑driven positioning that connects our products to federal priorities: security, compliance, cost efficiency, and operational readiness.
Translate complex technologies such as cloud governance, compliance automation, AI/FinOps, and CNAPP into clear, outcome‑based stories that resonate with government, defense, and public sector leaders.
Maintain compliant and competitive messaging aligned with FedRAMP, DoD, CMMC, and Zero Trust frameworks.
Create tailored federal go‑to‑market assets including solution briefs, proposal inserts, launch decks, compliance one‑pages, case studies, and event collateral.
Partner with Product and Sales to ensure storytelling bridges technical depth and mission relevance.
Build tools and templates that help account teams and partners lead with trust, security, and taxpayer value.
Product Launch & GTM Execution
Lead federal go‑to‑market execution for new product capabilities and compliance milestones (e.g., FedRAMP authorization, DISA STIG alignment).
Coordinate across Product, Sales, Alliances, and federal field teams to create integrated, measurable launch moments tied to mission and policy windows (NDAA, FITARA, Executive Orders, etc.).
Pilot innovative GTM programs including partner‑led briefings, thought‑leadership roundtables, and agency‑specific campaigns.
Demand Generation & Sales Partnership
Partner closely with federal sales and capture to drive demand through ABM campaigns, strategic events, and RFP pursuits.
Develop tailored enablement materials for SIs, 3PAOs, and agency buyers.
Use data‑driven insights to continuously refine messaging for civilian, defense, and intelligence audiences.
Provide actionable insights to product and executive teams to guide roadmap alignment with emerging mandates such as CISA Zero Trust, OMB Cloud Smart, and the AI Executive Order.
Track competitor certifications, contract wins, and policy positioning to identify differentiation opportunities.
Translate market intelligence into strategic guidance to enhance federal credibility and competitiveness.
Support major federal events such as AFCEA, AWS GovCloud Summit, DoDIIS, and FedScoop with compelling messaging, visuals, and engagement plans.
Ensure every event drives mission‑driven thought leadership and pipeline acceleration.
Develop post‑event content that extends visibility within federal networks and partner ecosystems.
What skills are required?
Strong command of federal marketing, policy, and compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, CMMC, Zero Trust, OMB Cloud Smart, etc.).
Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for executive and mission audiences.
Proven skills in content creation—from messaging frameworks and solution briefs to decks and proposals.
Strong project management and cross‑functional collaboration abilities, particularly across product, sales, and partner teams.
Proficiency in B2B SaaS and cloud technologies, especially those relevant to public sector, cybersecurity, and compliance automation.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Data‑driven mindset with experience using insights to shape GTM and positioning strategies.
What experiences & qualifications are required?
7–10 years of product marketing, solutions marketing, or federal go‑to‑market experience in B2B technology or SaaS.
Direct experience marketing to federal agencies, defense, or intelligence communities.
Familiarity with federal procurement cycles, contract vehicles, and agency‑specific buying patterns.
Experience leading GTM programs or product launches in compliance‑heavy or regulated environments.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Prior experience at a cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise software company strongly preferred.
