Job Summary Responsible for overseeing communication strategies. Ensures the organization’s message is consistent and effectively communicated to employees, customers, shareholders, media outlets, and the general public. No patient care required.
Essential Functions
Developing and implementing communication plans and strategies to support company goals and objectives.
Managing the organization’s social media presence, posting updates, responding to inquiries, and monitoring feedback.
Writing and editing press releases, speeches, and presentations to ensure effective communication.
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as marketing and public relations to maintain a consistent message.
Analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of communication initiatives and recommending improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies or Journalism preferred; related field required.
5–7 years of experience in communications within health care or science; 1–2 years of management experience preferred.
Superior written, editorial, oral communication and computer skills.
Proven management ability in employee communications, content development, web development, digital signage, and publication production.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent management, organizational skills and ability to manage staff and multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Initiative, ability to work independently or as a team member, and readiness to assist with routine and last‑minute projects.
Exceptional judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
Creativity, latitude, and ability to plan and accomplish goals.
Additional Job Details Remote. Work location: 55 Fruit Street. Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Employee type: Regular. Work shift: Day. Pay range: $97,510.40 – $141,804.00 per year. Grade: 8.
