Right of Way Designer (Project Management)
GPI is seeking a full‑time Right of Way Designer to work within our New England Survey Team out of either our Wilmington, MA or Salem, NH offices. Responsibilities
Creating and editing CAD drawings for Right of Way plans and Easement/Taking plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D (required) and OpenRoads Designer (preferred).
Reading and understanding sketches, maps, deeds, plans, and other record drawings, and compiling them into a CAD drawing.
Reading and understanding Civil/Highway/Bridge construction plans and evaluating construction impacts to private property outside of the public Right of Way.
Familiarity with MassDOT and NHDOT Right of Way processes and requirements is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with other New England State DOT Right of Way processes and requirements is a plus.
Registry of Deeds research experience.
Qualifications
2+ years of Right of Way or Land Surveying experience.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D (required).
Basic computer skills.
Familiarity with basic Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with Bluebeam (preferred).
EIT or LSIT (a plus).
Ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
