Job Summary
The Project Manager - Audio Visual is the overall manager for assigned project(s). The Project Manager ensures that all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed and managed in accordance with the Company’s requirements, including but not limited to safety, quality, management and financial performance requirements. All aspects of the assigned project(s) must be carried out as efficiently as possible with respect to staffing, materials management, financial management, customer care and customer delivery goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
Plan for, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability to achieve company goals.
Review all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including preparation of invoices, customer collections and periodic financial reporting to the customer and management.
Manage all related quality and safety issues on customer work.
Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
Act as the company liaison for interface with customer representatives.
Create, develop and implement account process improvements.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Physical and Mental Requirements

Demonstrated problem‑solving and critical thinking skills, with effective written and oral communication.
High skill level interpreting blueprints and other project documents, including specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
Ability to travel within branch or regional territory as needed.
Ability to learn company and customer project management systems.
Ability to secure and maintain a company‑sponsored American Express card.
Proficiency with trade tools: punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt‑ohmmeter, 4‑pair continuity tester and 5‑gang punch tool.
Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements
High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the company.
Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
Minimum of five (5) years leading commercial audio visual projects field.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
Meet company minimum driving standards.
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to define a project, create a scope of work, develop detailed tasks and manage to final completion and customer turnover.
