Creative developer - a job post by ROVO PICTURES Seeking Creative Executive, Screenwriter and Development Coordinator ROVO PICTURES is a filmmaker‑led studio dedicated to exploring human emotion through cinema. We create original stories that blur the boundaries between art, technology, and experience - and we're looking for a Creative Developer to join our core team. As a Creative Developer, you'll help shape the soul of our projects - transforming abstract ideas into cinematic worlds, characters, and emotional journeys. You'll collaborate closely with directors, writers, and visual artists to develop narrative concepts that resonate deeply with audiences. What You'll Do Conceptualize and develop original film ideas, treatments, and story structures Collaborate with the creative team to define visual tone, emotional rhythm, and thematic depth Support the script development process with feedback and creative insight Conducts market research and trend analysis to identify audience needs and emotional touchpoints. Monitor industry developments and outstanding domestic and international sci‑fi works to draw creative inspiration. What We're Looking For A storyteller at heart - someone who thinks in images, emotions, and ideas Passionate for science‑fiction literature and film, with strong storytelling ability and imagination. Experienced in film development, screenwriting, or narrative design (or a strong creative portfolio) Excellent writing and presentation skills in English (Chinese bilingual ability is a plus) Deep appreciation for cinema, art, and cultural storytelling Strong team spirit and communication skills; able to coordinate effectively across departments to drive project progress.
