Salary Range: $70,310 - $75,000

Responsibilities

Provide Technical Writing, Configuration Management, Data Management and/or Data Library support to the F/A-18 & EA-18G IPT.

Develop, validate, verify, produce, quality‑assure, distribute, and maintain assigned technical documents for the F/A-18 & EA-18G IPT.

Plan, write, edit, and coordinate technical documentation (engineering, research, test, logistical support reports); assist authors in preparation and publication of open iterative articles and documents.

Coordinate planning and production, and establish procedures and formats for one or several documentation and reporting functions; ensure that publication or documentation meets applicable standards and regulations.

Coordinate work of other NAWCWD employees and/or contract personnel providing services necessary to these functions.

Process and/or manage supporting documentation for a program.

Populate and maintain a tracking system that accurately reflects review and approval of technical data.

Review data as required for accuracy and completeness.

Maintain a record of documents using established processes and ensure that no less than 90% of documents are current and accurate.

Ensure program schedules are met for CDM tasks performed, and status reports are provided to sponsor.

Maintain program data in program library and update library database (keeping accuracy within 98%).

Perform change‑control board tasking, download changes, distribute changes, and add changes to program database.

Identify and manage technical data throughout the lifecycle of a Software Configuration Set (SCS).

Manage databases and coordinate Development Change Review Board for disposition of anomalies and software changes.

Track requirements and enter test planning data into databases.

Acquire, validate, process, track, maintain, secure, and store contract and/or program data deliverables.

Assist in preparation of data in accordance with program requirements to ensure adequacy and timely delivery.

Plan, coordinate, analyze, and/or support work within a subject‑matter area; work with supervisor and subject‑matter specialists to ensure accuracy and adequacy.

Required Skills

U.S. Citizenship required (due to sensitivity of customer‑related requirements).

Associate degree plus 5 years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of related experience.

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.

Teachable, positive attitude, highly motivated, team oriented.

Ability to perform, manage, and prioritize multiple related tasks in a time‑sensitive environment.

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Effectively communicate (oral and written) with tact and professionalism.

Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.

Desired Skills

Current top‑secret or secret security clearance.

Practical experience with F/A‑18 and EA‑18G functionality.

Experience with system development lifecycle, from design to testing and validation.

Familiarization with Agile.

Ability to work within small groups or Scrum team.
