Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Commercial Growth
Drive forward the global marketing strategy to drive revenue growth, customer retention, and brand equity
Align closely with sales, product, and executive leadership on commercial goals and campaign execution
Build marketing programs that move the needle across full‑funnel acquisition, conversion, and expansion
Support go‑to‑market strategy for new product launches, including Flexport’s proprietary tech releases
Partner with product and commercial teams to craft compelling positioning, messaging, and launch plans
PR, Communications, and Content
Support earned media, PR, and executive communications for the company
Manage media relationships and inbound media opportunities
Support internal communications, ensuring company‑wide alignment and employee engagement
Oversee content across all owned channels, including the Flexport blog, social media, newsletters, and reports
Drive thought leadership initiatives that position Flexport as a leading voice in logistics, technology, and trade policy
Drive social media strategy ensuring a consistent and impactful brand voice across platforms
Align editorial content with Flexport’s commercial priorities, product roadmap, and industry trends
Marketing Mechanisms & Analytics
Own driving the marketing team’s planning and measurement mechanisms including weekly standups, WBRs, and QBRs.
Partner with the marketing operations and digital performance teams to dive deep and identify opportunities for optimization.
Partner cross‑functionally with enablement and sales teams to ensure a healthy intake flow and customer experience.
Team Leadership
Lead a team of 2‑3 direct reports with potential to grow.
Mentor future leaders, foster a culture of ownership and collaboration, and scale team capabilities as the business grows.
Budget & Vendor Management
Manage a multi‑million dollar marketing and communications budget
Oversee agency relationships, vendor contracts, and tool stack investments
Ensure spend is aligned to business priorities, performance targets, and scalability
You Should Have
10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, communications, or partnerships—ideally in technology, logistics, or other complex global industries
A strong track record of building and scaling high‑impact marketing teams and programs
Deep expertise across product marketing, content, communications, performance marketing, and brand
Experience managing high‑stakes media relationships and guiding executive communications
A portfolio of successful product launches, strategic campaigns, and brand building at scale
Fluency in marketing operations, attribution, funnel optimization, and web strategy
Outstanding communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
Strategic thinking matched with operational rigor and a bias for execution
Salary Range US base salary range: $185,000 – $230,000 USD (this does not include bonus, equity, and benefits).
