Akkodis is seeking a
Senior User Experience Designer
for a
Contract
with a client in
San Jose, CA (Remote).
The ideal candidate will lead the design of employee-facing digital solutions by translating complex user needs into intuitive, human-centric experiences.
Rate Range:
$60/hour to $63/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior User Experience Designer job responsibilities include:
Lead design initiatives using design thinking principles to advocate for human‑centric, inclusive experiences across employee‑facing digital solutions.
Translate complex user needs into practical design solutions grounded in research and aligned with evolving business priorities.
Create high‑fidelity prototypes, storyboards, and strategy decks to visualize ideas and communicate design rationale effectively.
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams including executives, product managers, and engineers to align on design goals.
Define UX goals and manage multiple work streams ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.
Drive innovation and thought leadership through proactive experimentation and continuous improvement of design processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in UX design and product design.
Proven expertise in designing enterprise applications and creating high‑fidelity prototypes, workflows, and design systems.
Strong ability to present and communicate design rationale to stakeholders and executives, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects.

Pay Details:
$60.00 to $63.00 per hour
