Eyewear Designer
to join their design team. This is a great role for a creative, trend-savvy designer with strong technical skills and an eye for innovation in fashion accessories.
Key Responsibilities
Research current fashion and eyewear trends and translate them into sketches, CADs, and final product concepts
Design sunglass collections for multiple brands, incorporating color, pattern, shape, and material trends
Collaborate with the Chief Designer and design team to develop seasonal collections and trend boards
Review prototypes and samples for fit, function, and style accuracy
Develop and manage product from initial concept through final styling and delivery
Create and maintain cost sheets, product lists, and data accuracy across all design phases
Source and communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality, timelines, and cost efficiency
Design and source packaging and eyewear cases
Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Sales, and Marketing to align product design with brand strategy
Participate in weekly design and production meetings and oversee prototype sampling process
Tools & Programs
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong CAD and presentation skills required
Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in design (eyewear experience preferred but not required)
Strong understanding of fashion trends, materials, and color application
Excellent sketching, CAD, and product development skills
Strong communication, organization, and presentation abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, or related field preferred
