What You Will Do
Partner closely with Sales Representative(s) to learn the medical device industry and the Upper Extremities business, then contribute to growth in the assigned territory.
Attend surgeries, ensure Stryker products are available and instruct surgeons on product use and functionality.
Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and staff about proper use, maintenance, and updates of Stryker products.
Identify sales opportunities, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the customer relationship.
Develop appropriate responses to new prospects in conjunction with the assigned Sales Representative.
Tailor Stryker’s promotional message based upon customer knowledge, advise on product selection, and answer questions about product functionality.
Perform field calls for the account(s) and assigned territory.
Assist in implementing new sales plans and marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and meet business targets (quotas).
Serve as the primary backup contact for Sales Representative(s) and acquire a basic understanding of regulatory compliance issues.
Assist in resolving account problems or questions and manage inventory levels.
Process Customer Purchase Orders (POs) for proper invoicing and maintain sales skills training.
Market the product line based on knowledge of functionality, features, and differentiation from competitors.
Participate in sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours.
Adhere to compliance and ethical principles, protecting the organization’s assets and confidentiality of information.
What You Need
Bachelor’s Degree OR
Associate’s degree or Medical Certification (e.g., CST, PT, CPT) + at least 2 years of professional and/or related experience.
High School Diploma + at least 4 years of professional and/or related experience.
4+ years of active‑duty military service.
