Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Position Summary In conjunction with the Senior Director of International Trade Marketing, the

Manager of Trade Marketing

will lead the growth and development of the Makeup By Mario brand at Sephora globally with focus on international markets.

The

Trade Marketing Manager

will report directly into the Senior Director of International Trade Marketing. This role will support in building retailer specific support plans for Sephora globally. This includes driving strategies for key consumer periods, sampling, VM, core always on programs, 360 campaigns for launches and new market launches. All activities need to ensure coherence and alignment with Global Marketing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of marketing plans and strategy, including all merchandising strategy, promotional activities and product launches

Maintain a retailer marketing calendar with programs to anniversary and drive incremental sales

Develop and coordinate marketing launch tool timelines for key initiatives so that delivery is monitored and is timely

Work closely with Senior Director of Intl. Trade Marketing and Business Development team to ensure all material needs are forecasted for animations in a timely manner (including testers, and other POSM)

Maintain product assortment in close partnership with Global Product Marketing and sales teams

Manage market launches to ensure timelines are met and ensuring to work closely with Global Marketing on product readiness, submitting NPF forms, managing global doors lists, and ensuring to deliver samples to key partners including merchant, VM and Digital Social partners

Work cross functionally to manage Sephora Social media requests to ensure assets are delivered by deadline

Work with internal digital team to submit Digital NIF for new launches globally

Support International field team with event needs and execution with assets and TOAs

Manage Visual Merchandising updates to ensure on-time and on budget execution to maximize gondola productivity while minimizing returns impact and ensure a strong on brand esthetic

Help manage trade marketing budget and consolidate spends, results and for the Trade Marketing activations

Ensure needs are clearly communicated and performance of delivery is tracked (POS guidelines, adv copy, samples, merchandising guidelines, model shots, pack shots)

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of retail marketing experience in cosmetics industry

Must have experience working with Sephora

Ability to be in NYC office 4 Days a week

Strong color cosmetics affinity

Ability to understand, maintain and communicate timelines, work collaboratively and cross-functionally, and ability to be agile and resilient in a fast-paced environment is key

Proficient at sales analysis, business planning and execution

Organized and detail oriented in both managing tasks and budget tracking

Experience in retailer specific portals (ie Gaia portal, Riversand) a plus

Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

Accurate and efficient

Team player with a positive, professional, and enthusiastic “can-do” attitude and works well independently
