The Role The Product Marketing Associate will provide hands‑on support for the marketing and product positioning efforts of MarketAxess across all channels, with a particular focus on growing revenue for our suite of pricing and market data products. This role entails close on‑site coordination with the New York‑based marketing, communications, product and sales teams, and is a key component of our wider global marketing team.
The role requires a clear understanding of how to develop product‑ and client‑needs‑based marketing material and campaigns for trading & investment management workflows. In particular, it requires experience in developing compelling value propositions and marketing campaigns for data solutions and services, and an understanding of the importance of data in the e‑trading space.
How You’ll Help Take Us There
Marketing Materials : Help draft, develop and maintain sales and marketing materials including presentations, webpages, product sheets, fact sheets and thought leadership materials. Collaborate across key stakeholders to align content with strategic campaigns and business KPIs
Campaign Support:
Support the full lifecycle of brand and product campaigns – from research to creation and implementation. Projects will vary from smaller and short‑term product campaigns to large‑scale corporate brand campaigns. Build out impact reports for key stakeholders and refine campaign strategy where applicable.
Digital and social media : Support the development of digital components for product marketing campaigns. Support the publishing and ongoing maintenance of internal and external web content.
Content Development : Support creation and production of regular product marketing content, such as whitepapers, articles, opinion pieces and more. Work closely with product leads to define and refine their voice to market, and to help promote them and their products through thought leadership and insights.
Additional Responsibilities : Liaise with agency contacts and external vendors to manage creative campaign product, material design, copywriting content and more.
What We’re Looking for
3 years’ experience in marketing, preferably at a FinTech or data provider
Qualifications in marketing & communications, plus a background in business and/or finance
Strong organizational, project management and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail
Excellent written communications skills, and a clear track record of delivering written content
Self‑starter that can demonstrate creativity in approaches to solving problems
Adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and business needs
Understanding of client profiles with the ability to implement marketing campaigns aligned with sales and product strategies

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $80,000 USD to $115,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job‑related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
