Coastal EIT/Coordinator Responsibilities
Perform analysis and design of coastal restoration projects including marsh restoration and beach nourishment; shoreline protection projects including revetments and breakwaters; and navigation projects including dredging, marinas, and harbors.
Preparation of construction plans and specifications, developing technical reports, preparation of proposals including project scope and fee estimates, project management, and perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software
Self‑motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must
