Job Overview The Ullman School of Design (SOD) is dedicated to preparing students to become skilled professionals capable of working in local and global markets while respecting the human community. SOD emphasizes innovative teaching methods and the newest design‑thinking technologies to transform design disciplines. The undergraduate and graduate programs empower students in fashion, communication design, and industrial design through rigorous coursework and a world‑class professional practice (co‑op) program.

Essential Functions

Administer existing core curriculum syllabi, with potential modification.

Submit grades for all students enrolled in the course.

Refer students with any special needs or circumstances to DAAP advisers when necessary.

Coordinate with other faculty members for multi‑section course alignment.

May serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework.

Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.

Review and respond in a timely manner to all University‑related communications.

Minimum Requirements

Master’s degree in Industrial Design or a related field.

Or a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design.

Or a related field with 6 years of industry experience.
