As a
Design Project Manager
on Hutton’s Design + Build team in Northwest Arkansas, you’ll use your creativity and expertise to shape projects that influence how communities live, work, and connect. Key Responsibilities
Model Hutton’s cultural values: lead, inspire, respect, construct.
Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, and project teams.
Lead project design from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with budget, code, and owner expectations.
Prepare drawings, specifications, and design documents using BIM and other tools.
Coordinate and manage engineering consultants and project team members.
Oversee risk management, including code compliance, check set review, and contract documents.
Deliver design information, FF&E, and technical details within project timelines.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program required.
Master’s degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program preferred.
5+ years of experience as an architect required.
Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Registered Architect or demonstrated progress toward becoming a Registered Architect.
Proficiency in Revit (BIM), SketchUp, Bluebeam, 3D rendering software, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to interpret architectural/engineering plans and produce complete construction documents.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Clear written and verbal communication; reliable and thorough work ethic.
Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Experience visualizing and presenting design concepts.
Ability to develop creative solutions and contribute innovative design ideas.
Work / Physical Environment
Ability to remain in a stationary position within an office environment.
