Position Summary The Brand Manager of Integrated Media Planning reports to the Brand Director and supports the Sr. Brand Manager in planning, developing, and executing integrated brand marketing initiatives that enhance the visibility of GCU and Hybrid partner institutions. This remote role (must be based in Phoenix, Arizona) manages media planning and campaign production across traditional, digital, and emerging channels to ensure performance meets strategic objectives and exceeds stakeholder expectations.

The position collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to deliver cohesive, data‑informed brand communications that drive awareness, engagement, and enrollment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to accomplish multiple, complex initiatives for each partner’s overarching marketing and brand goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Support the planning, execution, and performance of traditional and digital media campaigns to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.

Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and clients to develop effective advertising strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives.

Assist with market and competitor research to identify trends and provide data‑driven recommendations that inform future marketing initiatives.

Monitor and analyze campaign performance, prepare detailed reports, and support budget management to ensure efficiency and measurable results.

Serve as a secondary contact for the Senior Brand Manager in coordinating with media partners and clients across various advertising channels, including radio, television, digital, out‑of‑home, and print.

Subscribe to and support GCE’s guiding principles and perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills and Expertise

Knowledge of advertising planning, development, monitoring, measurement, and analysis.

Knowledge of advertising channels including radio, television, CTV/OTT, digital audio, programmatic out‑of‑home, and other traditional and digital video marketing.

Knowledge of media placement processes across multiple media channels.

Ability to communicate effectively with outside partners, vendors, clients, and employees at all levels.

Demonstrated effectiveness in marketing campaign execution and complex planning to coordinate services and/or resources.

Ability to interact comfortably with high‑level staff, executives, and media personnel and act appropriately in making decisions in the absence of the Sr. Brand Manager.

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), MS Project or similar project management software, social media platforms.

Demonstrated knowledge of AP writing style.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Working knowledge of marketing analytics, ROI metrics, and strategy/tactics.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and receptiveness to coaching and training.

Supervisor Responsibilities

Expand responsibilities to oversee reports, projects, performance measurement, and/or other tasks in support of the Brand team.

Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, data/business analytics, or equivalent is required.

3‑5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, advertising in‑house or ad agency experience.

Experience executing multi‑platform advertising campaigns (traditional and digital) for a variety of audiences.

Knowledge of and experience in media strategy, buying, placement, and media research.

Must be able to pass pre‑employment background check.

Must be able to travel as needed (less than 25% travel) and willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays.
