This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office.

We are looking for a driven and curious Structural Design Technician to provide leadership and support our Built Environment team.

Responsibilities

Develop design concepts, create models from scratch, and coordinate designs to consider existing conditions and other disciplines. Convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models. Provide leadership for a small project with a team of designers, establishing project standards, procedures, training, developing your team, and building and maintaining team morale.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field At least 1 year of Revit At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience

Ideal Qualifications

At least 2 years of Revit experience Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures Experience leading a team of Designers Experience with healthcare /institutional /commercial buildings Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
