Pay Range $30.00/hr - $40.00/hr (base pay)
Description We are currently recruiting for Art teachers for Advanced Teen and Adult Students to teach digital and/or traditional art techniques. Our classes run on weekdays and weekends with the possibility of extra subbing classes. Starting ASAP.
Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided. Our Studio art teachers need to be well versed in a wide variety of art techniques and mediums. Our Digital teachers need to be experts in the Adobe Creative Suite on Mac: Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, After Effects and Procreate.
Responsibilities You will teach one or more of a variety of proprietary studio or digital art classes. Our students are beginner to advanced level. Our students are motivated and hardworking. Our class sizes are small and there is no prep needed outside of the classroom. You will deliver the curriculum with enthusiasm and tailor instruction to suit individual students' needs.
Qualifications / Requirements
7+ years of experience teaching traditional studio art or digital art or digital design classes (Anime and Manga style a preference)
MFA or Masters in Art Education (Or a BFA with significant art making experience)
Thoughtful communication skills
A passion for One River School's mission
Must live within easy commutable distance from work site location
