Position Overview We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate board‑certified music therapist to join our team as a part‑time contractor, with the potential to grow into a full‑time position as our caseload expands. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with early childhood, special education, and child/adolescent mental health populations and thrives in a flexible, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group music therapy sessions in homes, schools, and community settings
Collaborate with clients, families, and professionals to support therapeutic goals
Maintain documentation and uphold professional and ethical standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy
MT‑BC certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
Proficiency in voice, guitar, piano, and percussion
Reliable transportation for travel throughout St. Louis County, St. Louis City, and Jefferson County
Highly motivated, organized, and self‑directed
Professional liability insurance and CPR certification (prior to start)
Successful background check
Compensation & Benefits
