Ameriprise Financial is seeking a motivated and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to support initiatives focused on engaging and acquiring high-net-worth individuals and other segment-specific audiences. This pivotal role blends strategic marketing execution with field enablement, data analysis, and advisor support—driving measurable impact across client acquisition, retention, and experience strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution

Lead and support the development of targeted marketing campaigns tailored to affluent and niche client segments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging aligns with Ameriprise’s brand and client expectations.

Field Engagement & Enablement

Co-lead the creation of training resources and communications to support field implementation of new programs and enhancements. Maintain a library of compliant marketing collateral and ensure timely updates.

Advisor & Field Support

Provide ongoing support to financial advisors, field leaders, and field-facing teams through national forums, program mailbox management, and coaching. Help drive adoption of client acquisition and retention strategies.

Data Analysis & Strategic Insights

Partner with the Ameriprise Information Management (AIM) team to deliver ad-hoc and seasonal analysis of marketing programs and advisor growth metrics. Own qualitative and quantitative data analysis and provide actionable recommendations to senior leaders.

Executive Reporting & Presentations

Create internal presentations that outline progress toward goals, competitive landscape insights, and execution updates for executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Advisor Coaching Program Development

Co-lead the design and execution of advisor coaching programs, including field research, webinar facilitation, workshop creation, and feedback collection to continuously improve content.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4 years)

0–3 years of relevant experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Solid analytical skills

Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams

Results-driven, detail-oriented, and a problem-solver with a track record of managing multiple tasks or projects to completion

Strong client service skills with a high-touch approach and ability to build relationships that promote and enhance the brand

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in marketing communications within the financial services industry

Base Pay Salary: The estimated base salary for this role is $57,100 – $77,100 / year. We have a pay‑for‑performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long‑term incentives depending on the role.
