Office Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite in Houston, Texas

Overview This role works under the leadership of the Business Marketing head and partners with internal teams to shape product messaging for key audiences, craft content for multi-channel campaigns, and maintain alignment across marketing materials, sales resources, and thought leadership initiatives.

Success in this position depends on strong collaboration with groups such as Digital Marketing, Media Relations, Creative Services, and business unit stakeholders to deliver integrated, high-quality communications that strengthen brand visibility and support growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Perform market analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning to uncover differentiation opportunities.

Develop clear, compelling product narratives and positioning that emphasize value and resonate with target segments.

Contribute to integrated marketing programs designed to build awareness, engagement, and demand.

Work with communications teams to produce digital assets including website content, social posts, video outlines, and email campaigns.

Create sales enablement materials such as brochures, case studies, and product sheets to help commercial teams articulate benefits effectively.

Track and evaluate campaign performance with input from Digital Marketing, leveraging insights to optimize messaging and outcomes.

Collaborate across Creative Services, Media Relations, and Internal Communications to ensure brand consistency and cohesive storytelling.

Stay informed on energy sector developments to ensure marketing content reflects technological leadership and market positioning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science (Geoscience preferred), Marketing, Business, or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of B2B product marketing experience, ideally in energy, geoscience, or technology fields.

Strong writing and storytelling skills across digital and print formats.

Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into engaging, value-driven messaging.

Knowledge of product marketing principles, sales enablement, and customer journey strategies.

Understanding of digitalization, decarbonization, and data-driven innovation trends in the energy industry.

Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Collaborative approach and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Self-starter with a proactive mindset and customer-focused orientation.

Preferred Skills

Experience with marketing automation and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics).

Background in technical or scientific communications within energy, sustainability, or digital transformation.

Experience creating thought leadership and content marketing programs.

Familiarity with SEO and content optimization techniques.

Exposure to global marketing and cross-cultural communication.
