PML LLC a boutique strategic advisory firm offering services to its clients to guide them through the challenges of complex building projects. Our tenacity, integrity, and experience help us deliver personal, hands‑on service to our clients. We are dedicated to finding creative solutions not obvious to others and ensuring successful outcomes and results for hundreds of building projects.
We are seeking a creative, driven, and detail‑oriented individual to support general marketing activities. This position will be based in New York office with a minimum of four (4) days in our midtown office and this person will collaborate in developing customized marketing materials while ensuring the company’s messaging is consistent and our brand. This position will play an integral role in growing our company and efforts.
Responsibilities
Research market sectors, identify viable opportunities and effective plan to pursue
Work with our team members to prepare customized collateral for new business opportunities (Materials will include statements of qualifications, sales sheets, case studies, and brochures.)
Draft proposal‑related information, including project descriptions, resumes, technical service proposal language, and more
Prepare company‑formatted personnel resumes and project information sheets. Writing should be clear and compelling, while adhering to company standards and style
Lead the development of proposal responses. Analyze RFPs/RFQs and similar enquiries and confirm that responses meet all requirements
Develop presentation materials for potential client interviews. The process will include working closely with the project lead in developing the messaging, researching the client or prospect, and executing the final deck with content and design support
Support preparation efforts for potential client interviews
Participate in concept development for regional and sector‑specific marketing campaigns
Edit materials with an eye toward clarity, consistency, accuracy, and adherence to requirements
Use social media platforms to build brand awareness, update and keep current website traffic, and increase sales through content creation
Participate in industry forums and related associations
Qualifications
Ability to work well with others, show flexibility and good listening skills
Exceptional written and communication skills, and strong graphic and content creation skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline‑driven environment
Bachelor’s Degree in (or higher) in English, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent is required
5+ years of relevant experience in the A/E/C industry and/or professional services
Required proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), Adobe InDesign, and other software
Exceptional written and communication skills, and strong graphic and content creation skills
Anticipate work needs and proactively accomplish tasks with minimum direction
Exercise creativity, independence, and resourcefulness in completing tasks accurately in a compressed time frame
